I,m thinking the reverse of last year with a refueling stop at husky pub if n tippo needs a top up. let's hope the rain abated. Owen we will need your local knowledge. Don't forget the fare for the Ferry or its a swim or long run home.

I was going to pull out of tomorrows ride coz I've been fighting a loosing battle with a cold for the last few days but I'm feeling a fair bit better today. I'm happy to help out with the trails down my way but won't join you all for the full ride unfortunately.
Matt, can you give me a call on 0402 969 373 and we can sort out a meeting place and approximate time. See you all tomorrow.

So is the meeting place still the same, considering we'll be heading in the opposite direction?...still 6:30am? What's the route Matt, Russ or Lewy's strava map?

Yes meeting place still the same but we can meet the Northern's along Albatross Rd at 7:00am just west of Flinders Estate. My number is 0416091268 if someone wants to meet elsewhere. Track will be as per last year unless someone else has a better track.

Lewy, you could meet us at the pub. I wouldn't go the highway but Myola to pub would work.

We actually made it to the pub this time too... post BLT and coffee. It was a good ride today even though I only rode part of it and couldn't even find the track down the hill in Tomerong Forest!! Nowhere near as much mud as expected either so a nice surprise.
Sorry to read about your hands Lewy. I hope your recovering well.
Thanks for the ride guys. How was the boat trip home?

Going off Strava, Matt needed a Garmin for Christmas. ;D
Hands are healing slowly Owen. Probably another month before I am riding again.

Well if you haven't noticed it is getting that time of the year again. Yes the Christmas social ride. This year's ride will be on Sunday the 28th of December. The route will be the same as previous years which is about 80km if you do the whole ride. If that is too much there are plenty of opportunities to meet up or just stay at the husky pub and get picked up. I will post more details as we get closer to the date.

I'm keen for the ride. It'll be nice to catch up with you guys again. Let me know where you are meeting and I'll head up and do the whole loop. I don't want to miss out on the ferry ride this time...

Ok time book in so times.
This years Christmas social ride will be on the 28th December starting from the gate at the bottom of Quinns Lane at the western Rd ( down near the nature reserve)
Start time is 8:00am
We will head out Albatross Rd then Braidwood Rd (MR92) We will then head off into the bush until we pop out at the Log Cabin which should be about 9:30 ish. From there we head east to the Huski Pub for lunch. You can finish there or get the ferry across to Myola then thru to Forest Rd via the water main easements back to Worrigee. If you are feeling keen you can do a quick run on Butterfly or Superbowl.
The pace will be easy with regular stops and we won't leave anyone behind. Total distance is around 80km but well broken up so don't panic.
Keep an eye out here and facebook for updates and or cancellation if the weather is shit.
