I have put a temporary bridge in on the southern side of the track where it was a bit dodgy. It should be fine for the SSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS series.

I have some pallets prepped ready to drop in this week for some of the dodgy areas and i need to work on the first bridge crossing that I put in two years ago, tidying up the drainage and fill the potholes around it where the trails has deteriorated. A lot of people use the track and it is a good training track, whilst not out to piss off the committee I think it is within our interests to maintain it to a standard for a numpty to ride on safely and it does have historical SCUM attachment to it, mention Cabbage track and SCUM is easily linked to it, even though it is not an official track.

The 2nd Super Summer Social Series Event is again at Cabbage Tree lane - a repeat of last week except we'll ride clockwise - Due to the recent rain, Cabbage is more of a swamp than an MTB track. To avoid your wife, husband, partner or self abusing you for washing your mud covered clothes with the whites we are going to move this week to Coondo. We will do a short course to avoid the wet stuff at Coondo. So same time just different place. The BBQ will be there as will the mozzies so bring some snags and mozzie repellent. [/font]

Usual arrangements but the wifes are bringing wine and a chair so if you can get a leave pass bring the family as the kids will be riding along with the adults. If thing change we will update tomorrow evening or Friday afternoon.

First bridge section is sort of fixed there with lead in to the big bridge still a little sodden but with the planks a little more rideable, I fixed the drainage around it and on the other side. Added a new pallet bridge on the other side to help let the other area dry out a little. I dropped in some pallet bridges near the trailhead for me to drop in during the week, so if they can remain there that would be great, I want to fix the last creek section a bit betterer and the plastic pipe crossing.
cheers
Adrian
