Rodney.......you're smokin' mate!!  Over 30 riders.....well done to the husband and wife DH duo of Andrew and Nikki and not forgetting the Princess, for organising a top day and putting smiles on 30+ downhillers. ;D.....I wasn't there, so if I missed out on anyone else who gave a hand, big thanks to you too. Cant wait for the 18th Oct.....(promise I'll be there)  |

The hardest thing about organising an event is the unknown factor of how many may turn up. So, if you read this and you are coming on the 18th, just fire off a quick reply. Thanks. ;D

Yeah, great day, weather was perfect. Getting more numbers with each race, it would be good to see more SCUM riders giving DH a go.

Yeah was a mad day great organisation thanks  . I brought a few mates and will have about 5 or so more next time too so will be sweet. Also cut 20 seconds off my time from last round which is always a good thing. Even a Gnarly crash at the 21 Ft, unintentionally supermaned it and landed with my stomic on the seat haha. Oh and just one last thing any photo's popped up yet?. Plus my mate has a bit of helmet cam footage which he will post up here soon. |

Hey if we put a series on again next year (which we are definately planning to do) how many of you guys would consider becoming members of SCUM? Obviously the idea of these races are to generate interest in the Downhill side of SCUM. We have a very healthy XC membership and with that comes support. (family, friends and members not wanting to ride on the day lending a hand). Food for thought for next year.
See you at the next one in Nov........

Anyone wanting to give a hand with timing (top and bottom) would be much appreciated. Reply here or PM myself or "Illusionary Lines", or just come up on the day and we'll show you the ropes....dont worry you'll have someone with you that has done it. ;D

How was it today... i couldnt come i plled a ligament in my foot and im going to NZ DHilling and i didnt want to injure myself more
