Ive been intrigued by these bikes for a while now.
One question: Do they ride like a traditional 26" HT xc bike? Bouncey and rough or do the baggy tyres soak up the terrain?

Well. When riding single track or fire trails the tyres soak up all the small stuff like it wasn't there. Can get a bit bouncey with repetitive hits ie. riding down stairs. 8 psi is good for this type of riding. Tyre grip on turns is chewy on ya shoe. Although burping a tyre will require a lot of pump action. Not originally designed for this sort of riding. Sand @ 6psi = bloody awesome.
