What a great ride we had this morning. 6 starters with Russ, Roland, Tippo, Tony, Matt and myself meeting at the Uni around 7. Ride range from 60-70kms with Russ trying for 100kms. An even mix of CX and MTB's too. Get onboard for the next one it was fun.

I hope you were convincing the MTB riders to buy a new CX from you Tippo... After a couple of descents i'd convinced myself into a new one with disc brakes !

It just so happens the Felt rep was in this morning and to quote him "The F5x is only a couple of bucks dearer". I'm thinking about it.

After the decent on Parma fire trail I'm sticking with the 29er.

After the decent on Parma fire trail I'm sticking with the 29er. It was a challenging descent that's for sure. You really need to focus with the skinny tyres or it can get interesting.

Many times I did not know how I stayed upright ;D A bit of speed trumps finesse most times. Hang on and hope for the best.
