Classic!! I was up that way 4wding with some friends a week or so ago and saw this truck in the dam then. Funny stuff. Sorry I couldn't meet up that day. I'm keen on the next one though... as long as it's in daylight hours!!! How did you get from 12 Mile Rd back to Bewong etc? I know you can get through to Wandean Rd from there but unless you ride back to Turpentine Rd via Cassia Firetrail you would have to ride the hwy for a bit. And the narrow bridges along there scare the willies out of me. Those bridges are a showstopper for me. HB

There is only one narrow bridge there until Bewong. I was lucky the cars were nice to me. Back wheel is dead now so it will be awhile before I do it again.

That's the bridge that freaks me out. Nowhere to go if you get squeezed at 100kph.
Did you know you can get through offroad from Bewong Roadhouse to Basin View? Pretty good and surprisingly flat tracks.
Bummer about your wheel.
