Not anticapting any problems, but, since we have to enter online and the weather is always a variable, what happens if it rains or whatever and can't go ahead on the day?

Matt and I are in! Looking forward to it!
With the guided ride on Saturday, can you give an indication on roughly how long the ride will be?
Do we need to bring food, camel back or lights if going in the last group?
Cheers, Russ

The weather will be hot. You will need water with you either on your back or bottles. Food of your choice. Distance is approx 25km. There will be toilets and water at the Uni building (start/finish). there will be no food at the Uni after your ride. Plenty of choices back in town though.

Awesome weekend of riding!! The boy and I loved it. The weather made me feel like I was doing the Simpson Desert Challenge at times! Thanks to all that made it happen and thanks to Matt (riderdown) who kept me company (and kept me going!) for the last 15km or so! Nice chattin with ya!
Edit: I should also say thanks to the chap (sorry I don't know your name) who stopped to help me get a big stick out that was well and truly jammed in my derailieur/cluster on the first corner of the second stage. Cheers mate!

I have to give a big shout out to Paul , Rod and Tippo for helping me with a mechanical . I cost you guys a big chunk of time so thankyou , i would have called it a day without your help . I was not in a good way with 12km to go in stage 2 and was going to pull the pin but i really wanted to finish so though bugger it one pedal stroke at a time no matter how slow . True test for us all in that heat !
