Planning a little social ride for Monday kicking off from Worrigee at 6am up to Mt Scanzi, along through Leebold Hill Rd and Redrocks to Camby hairpin then home weather permitting. About 80kms, 5 hrs, not a ride for the fitness challenged. Haven't done it for a while so hopefully it's ridable and we won't get lost. 0411404733.

How did you go Tony? I wanted to come but I'm being a bit of a nurse to Lynn at the moment.

Just Matt and I, but it was a really good ride. A little cool and slippery under foot along the top but great conditions for a hard ride. We're looking at doing Meryla next so hopefully we can get a few more takers for it.

Deano, look up Meryla Pass ride on the net which will give you an idea of the type of ride. Its about 40km if you car pool and ride from Fitzroy Falls to KValley.

We've talked about it so now its time to act, looking at doing Meryla this Sunday, 15th Feb. I want to do it as a loop, about 47kms, starting and finishing at Fitzroy Falls and popular opinion is that the best way to achieve this is clockwise as it has less climbing. For those not keen on uphills you can peel off after Cannonball and head back to KValley, you'll just have to arrange to leave a vehicle there to get back to the start, this rides only about 20kms. It'll probably take about 4.5 hrs so an early start would be good, how about 7am at the carpark, F/Falls visitors centre. If you look up Fitzroy Falls as an Activity search on Strava and open one thats around the 45km mark you can view the ride and elevation. Sorry for the short notice but hopefully we'll get a good roll up.
