Held at the Hunter track of Killingworth. This track was fun in lots of ways, with a touch of boggyness. Laps were around the half an hour mark, it included plenty of single track and a fair bit of climbing. Highlights began will lining up on the front with the fastest, the usual, English, Glennan, Shane and Flem-o, then moved into the more unusual like going over the bars onto another rider in a steep twisty sandy boggy section, his bike saved me from the soft sandy landing. Other stuff I liked were the feirce downhill sections, with nice little berms and occasional creek crossing.

Stuff that happened, Early on Craig Armour - passing me twice only to be found beside the track having-a-chuck after both occasions. My back finally giving me the hebee-gebees about th 4hr mark - you would have found me on my back in the dirt trying to stretch it out. Back at transition, a panadol, dencorub, another stretch session and a little time-out. Then there is nothing like getting back on the horse. To have the horse give out on the last lap.......................

The horse gave out but that didnt mean I stopped. I still nailed the rest of the course, downhill style, without the use of a saddle. 37 minutes for both the last and second last lap. Hot laps were around the 30 minute mark earlier in the day.
