I was looking at the 2010 apollo's today, and for 7 grand you can get there top of the range one spec'd with a full XX kit sid XX forks, super sweet looking bike. I tell you what its tempting. to buy the full kit your looking at about 4500 grand. Would like to see what the price is of other bikes that spec it. I know norco have spec'd it on there top of the range carbon fibre XC rig for 2010 as well.

My X9 has gone through 3 hangers, thanks to sticks and rocks, and still changes sweetly so the XX sounds great matched up with some Xfusion. Xilent

Yeh it is. I already prefer sram stuff to shimano stuff now anyways but thats just my personal opinion.

Shimano will come out with a 20 speed groupset next year i reckon. They have an electronic shifting system for road bikes. Heavier, but 100% accurate.

Its a shame all these new toys are out of reach of the average rider. Maybe tech will filter down to workhorse groupsets in a year or so. who can afford to replace $600 cassettes every 6 months? sorry just my whine for today.
