Just marked the course (well I did it 4 hours ago) and the track looks good.
So at this stage, weather dependent, the race is going ahead. If it is raining tomorrow morning, check this space and also listen to the radio (power FM and 2ST). Lewy and I will make the call at 7am if it is to be cancelled. The race venue will not change at that sort of late notice- it's either on or off.

Good turn up today with 85 or so riders.
And a lot of new faces since the last time I did the timing, or turned up to race.
Everyone was gone before the rain hit too.

Just wanted to say thanks to Kel, Kev and Lewy for running the race today. It was another good one.  And thanks Whitto and Duncan and anyone else who helped for making the new bits of track. I reckon they were a big improvement. |

Good race guys.
Always well worth a trip down from Wollongong.

Dear Riding Fraternity, Sorry for banging on about this, but if you do find a few photographs in Kev's album that you like, shout out some kudos on this very forum. Us shutterbugs take photos for love, not money and some appreciative comments may see us out there again.  Now, back to those Downhill Photographs...  |

Big thanks to all the timing crew at last race Whitto, Kel, Lewy, Kev- very much appreciated. Also great photos Kev- we are lucky to have someone with a great eye for a shot who gives up their time for us. Also great additions to the course-even better when they bed in thanks Duncan and Whitto for your work on that.

The photos are excellent Kev! Much better than anything you get at Angry Docto or Highland Fling. IMO they are right up there with Sportograf for quality except being able to drag and drop them straight to your desktop makes them even better. Love the close ups where the rider is in focus and the background blurred. Makes everyone look faster than they are! ;D
