OK, I'm thinking that list now looks like a wall of fame/shame of who is the most hardcore/stupid! : ) Riding last night I kept thinking, what a strange sport we have, and yet here are all these other people who also seem to want to ride their bikes around at night in the rain and mud. Are we all mad? I don't think I've ever been so muddy - woke up this morning with big black bits of "sleep" that my eyes had ejected during the night. Now to the bike washing/gear cleaning which could take the better part of the morning methinks. Thanks to the girls doing the timing and everyone else who set up and then packed away all the gear while the rest of us tried to get clean enough to get in the car. And thanks Henry for putting the results straight up.

Congrats to all the helpers who braved the conditions to make last night another scum success! I'm sure all the riders still have big smiles on their dials. Special mention to Whitto and Fiona to totally dominate and smash their opposition, in the mixed pairs. Bring on more night racing!

What are the chances of a midweek night mini series. Eg. April 4 rounds wednesday nights. Once at each track??? People I have spoken with love the concept. I throw it out there for discussion and refinement. Was going to drive back from Cooma on Friday to race. An urgent family illness was the only thing that stopped me. The cool nocturnal riding is the best thing going. Help me justify the purchase of my $500 lights to my wife. I am happy to assist with the running of a mini series. Mad May could be the month. Had an interesting time at the race. I really enjoyed riding in the mud, slipping and sliding all over the place was an absolute ball! With no brakes however the fun diminished and sadly I had to retire
