I was talking to a mate who has a "recreational Shooters License". He told me that he is allowed to go shooting in the "Currumbeen State Forrest"! Hang on isn't that where I go riding? Whilst I'm sure all is safe and my Friend is a reliable chap I would like to make a few suggestions in the interest of safety: - If anyone has those funny little antler things on your helmet, take them off.
- Jill and Hellen, definitely don't wear those fairy wings.
- Don't whoop like a down hill rider on Super Bowl.
- And single speeders, sorry SS riders, shave, look human.
just a few tips Stay safe, keep your heads down and Cheers Matt

If riders start ducking for cover next time one of your photography flashes go off, Kel, you'll know why.

Coming from a bowhunting background and being a professional taxidermist for the last 15 or so years, i cannot see any sane reason for there to be hunters in the currumbeen state forrest! All i have seen in the last 2 years of riding the area are Grey kangaroos and swamp wallabys, both are protected. I see no sign of deer, goats or pigs thats not to say there couldnt be a deer or two in the whole area. There would be a odd fox. I just think hunting shouldnt be allowed in this particular type of area with multiple user groups frequenting the area. But i spose goverment bureaucrats will do something once some poor innocent gets shot!

Also any recreational hunter can get a restricted licence you have to meet a criteria and cough up some hard earned cash.
