Hello fellow downhiller's. I will be looking to start up the series again for this year with the first round being in July. To pull this off i need some more volunteers to help marshall and time at each round of the series. If you could post here if you are willing, or contact me the dh co-ordinator through the site it would be muchly appreciated. To provide another great series i need some more help or it just won't happen cheers, Andrew......

It's amazing isn't it Andrew, your post has been read 25 times, mountain biking is supposed to be growing, yet not one person wants to give a hand to ensure this race series goes ahead?!?!....oh well, we'll just have to do some social downhilling this year.....  |

Racing will start on the 25th July with more dates to follow.
Still need volunteers for track marshaling, please let me know asap if you can help or friend, parent etc. These events run alot smoother with adequate numbers.
Rego 8-11am
$5 entry MTBA members (you must bring your license to the race or you will pay for a day license)
$15 day license for non MTBA members.
4 Categories, Elite,Sport, Junior & Hardtail
Racing starts from 12pm onwards
2 race runs
Private Shuttles
A 5 round series raced on the infamous "Funnel Web" track. Points will be awarded for each round, points from all races will add together for the end of series tally. Presentations will be part of SCUM's proposed presentation night/day in December...stay tuned.

First race was held successfully today on what proved to be a very fast and flowy track if somewhat dusty! Hope everyone had a good run. 38 riders in total and new track record! Awesome stuff! Attachments:

Dates at this stage are looking to be the last w'end of each month till december so 29th August, 26th Sept, 31st Oct and the 28th Nov(TBC).

GRRRR!!!!!! Round 2... ok thursday and friday before..... im racing in canberra with school.... saturday dual slalom in canberra.... sunday hopefully DH at wandy and monday tuesday wednesday snow camp.... i dont think i can make the race though... =[

Results are up for Rd.2!. Hope everyone had a top day. Well done to Liam posting the fastest time of the day and a new track record!
