MTBA has increased member fees for 2011. Main impact on SCUM members are;
Annual membership now $100 (was $90) + club fee. Typically $5
Value-add from CA or ADCC $50 (was $45)
Day permit $20 (was $15) per event
On the plus side they now have a Day Permit Rebate Scheme (PRS) which means if you pay for 3 day permits in a 12month period you can geta $30 rebate off full membership. Nice

I think club fee is $10 Duncan.....Did MTBA give a reason for the rise, or does Tony just need a new car/boat?!?!  |

Sorry didn't check what the SCUM membership part was, just went off the info MTBA sent out. You are right it is $10.
I was thinking it was all due to the GFC, like everything else is, but I quote...
These increases, which have not been increased since the start of 2009, will enable:
• MTBA to continue to support IMBA Australia
• Allow MTBA to further enhance its on-line systems to better serve the needs of our clubs, private promoters and members
• Allow for crucial staff additions, specifically targeted at delivering member development initiatives
• Assist States and Territories in delivering event better development opportunities through an increase in the SDF collection

Just a reminder that MTBA membership fees will be going up in 2011 so you have a few days left to get online and update your membership for 2011 at 2010 rate.
Membership (including SCUM club fee)
Senior $110 (19yrs +)
Junior $80 (13-18yrs)
Children $40 (3-12yrs)
Day permits will be $20 per event so it makes club/mtba membership even more value.
