Roadies

I'm sure all mountain bikers have been brushed by "tool roadies", they are usually fully decked out in the matching team lycra and refuse to acknowledge your existence let alone return the friendly hello and wave. But the other day I got brushed by some clown wearing a $12 Torpedo7 jersey .

Surely there is a level you must attain before you can be a complete tool?

I would suggest matching lycra as a minimum and a bike worth more than your matching lycra.

I say a loud "Hello", and if I don't get a response, I say a louder "Good Thanks"

It only took about 3 months for the same guys to start saying hi back to me.

Worse are the tools on roadies who smash past you in silence on the flat, only to die in the arse going up a hill.

Always good to say to them "I hate hills, wish I had a roadie as they are so much easier to pedal uphill"
