SCUM End of Year Race - Presentations - Car boot sale
As we have the last few years the last event of the year will be an endurance event. This year with options for 15/30/60 or 90km's. There are heaps of categories and as with all club events entry is incredibly cheap ($15 senoir $10 junior) and we would encourage all members of the family to have a ride.
The course is a 30km loop that will take in the Butterfly and Superbowl tracks, firetrails and tracks on the Northern side of Currumbene Forest. The 15km lap will miss the more technical parts but will still have some great singletrack. As has become the standard for this event the course will cover some parts of the forest you may not normally ride and cover the full range of riding terrain you can experience there.
If you plan on riding the 90km option you will need to enter online and we strongly encourage all riders to do so as you will be helping the volunteers planning and running the race and you will be in the running for an X-Fusion Velvet RL Fork (over $500 worth).
We are also encouraging you to bring along any old bike related gear you no longer need, to sell/swap/give away after the race.
The club year presentations will follow the event presentations and there will be a barbie, drinks and a coffee van.
So bring your bike, family and old bike gear and have a great day with SCUM.
All the info and entries are here www.scum.asn.au/thirtysixty/ and if you have any questions email me at trails@scum.asn.au, Kel at sectres@scum.asn.au or call me on 0429 923 962.
Happy trails,
Duncan Miller
