there has been a little confusion over the date of this race in Kangaroo Valley. It will be held on Saturday April 16, starting at 9am. There is a calendar floating around somewhere advertising it on the Sunday. It was moved from Sun to Sat as not to clash with the Chocolate Foot race.

Is there any info available about the track (lap distance, technical nature)? My 10 year old is thinking about having a go and entering with me...

From memory course is about 5/6km. Has some rock but this can be walked, some uphill switch back, pump track, down hill with berms not steep (has been extended i hear) fire road. should be ok for kids with bike skills.

Hi Folks I have attached a map of the course for Glengarry. The track is already to go. The track is 6.5km. There are lots of technical bits that novice riders may have to walk, and there is lots of uphill. This year we have put part of the pump track into the course too! My 11 year old gets around the course but complains that it is too hilly! Cheers Ian Boyle

I have just been out and rode the course. It is wet in places, and drizzling, but ready to ride. The radar has light showers that hopefully will ease soon. A reminder that the entrance driveway to Glengarry is very steep and slippery in the wet, be in LOW gear and go slow. Follow the signs! 7.3km from the turn off at Moss Vale Rd and Bendella Rd to the top of the Glengarry driveway. See you soon, Ian and Craig.
