SUPERBOWL RND 12/6

Hi All,
another round is less than 2 weeks away and once again, we're looking for people to run it.
Might be a good one to volunteer for, coz if the weather stays like this, you wont have to do a thing!

Lets hope that this isn't the case, but we have a pretty good run with our races so far this year. Ironically, the reason that we increased the years races from 12 to 16 was to compansate for a few rounds to be lost due to weather.

Back to the point, we are looking for atleast 2 people, one to run the race, and another to assist but primarly lap score and do rider regos.
Would be nice to see some fresh faces put there hands up this time.

Its Friday and it rained a bit today. I'm unsure how much fell out Superbowl way but as you all know it doesn't take much to turn the access road into a giant slip and slide.
I will monitor weather tomorrow and do a check tomorrow afternoon on the Superbowl access stituation and make a call as to weather or not to run the race.

I will put a post on this forum(saturday arvo) to let all know if on or off.

THIS RACE IS ON.*
The track access was checked this arvo at 3pm. Tallowwood rd (down to usual start/finish area) is greasy but driveable. But after a number of vehicles drive over it, it may not be in good shape for those last to get out.
Tony Conroy rode the track and declared it ready to go after clearing a few sticks and loose rocks.(thanks Tony)
The plan for tomorrow is to relocate start/finish area to the crest of Butterfly Rd.(about 100m up from Forest Rd)
This rd is also very greasy and rutted and parking is limited in that area. Therefore only official vehicles to be at the start/finish. Competitors please park your vehicles just off Forest Rd near the intersection of Tallwwood and Butterfly Rd and ride up to rego.
*So if the weather doesn't pumpout some crazy rainfall figures overnight
