September Round

The next round was to be a time trial at Cabbage but we've changed location to Coondoo.

I'd like to have an informal ride day at Coondoo to give our kids and wifes/ partners a chance to ride in a relaxed non competative atmosphere. I'd also like to revive the kids track at Coondoo. I will arrange for a suitable guide for the new comers and a few of us dads can look over the kids and the junior track.

If you plan to attend and have family that would be keen to try some intro Mountain biking please let me know. If it's something that a few are keen on then we can plan for it but if it is just me and my tribe then I plan small.

With Russ and Luke away we are looking for someone to run the formal race it'd be a good opportunity for some to re-learn or learn the computer system in a much less intense format than the usual club race.

Sounds like a good. I should have one of my Aunties & Uncles boys that weekend. He can sort of ride a bike

We have a couple of people confirmed for the new comers ride, my wife being one. Allan and Linda Jones will be their guides and they will be great, they are both good riders but also make those riding with them feel very comfortable, they will be perfect for those that wish to give it a try.

Meeting at Coondoo 2pm, no one to do timing so just come for a ride bring the partner and kids.

I was really hoping to make it down to get the kids and wife on the bike for a ride and for me to have a go at learning the computer system but it ain't gonna happen this weekend for me unfortunatley. Sorry.

Spoke to Tippo today. He said he would steer his Sat arvo social ride group Coondoo way for a few laps.
Nice weather predicted. Might have a good turn out.
