Dear SCUMmers'
The "Game Council" (there the dudes who shoot things, not Moto's unfortunately) are organising a clean up of the Forest on 16th of October, 8am, and we've been invited to help! The plan is that we bring all the rubbish to a central area where it is collected by a Forestry truck. This is a great chance for us to show our commitment to caring for the forest which is most important as we push our occupancy claims.
I'll let you know more as details come but please make this one a priority and wear bright clothing, we don't want the Gamers getting us in their sights.
Cheers Matt

This is a great idea! I was only thinking about it when I was riding a few laps of the championship course at Superbowl on the weekend. I was thinking Clean up Australia Day but why not now when they are involved as well? If only we could stop the bastards that dump the stuff there in the first place! Turn up in numbers to this clean up day. It's our chance to get the forest looking it's best...the way we want it to look. Geoff

Maybe they can shoot the dirt bikers and then we solve 2 problems in the one day.
There is whole bunch of rubbish out there. Anyone else notice a pattern? Council puts up the price of going to the tip, the bush has more rubbish than before.

I was a bit confused at first because I thought Victoria is a long way to go for a clean up.

Just a reminder that this Sunday is our clean up day. 8am at Cabbage, I'll be at work so will not be there but it would be great to have plenty there. If there are enough some could go to Coondoo and drag rubbish out to be collected.
Remember the "bang bang" boys will out in force so wear bright cloths and no antlers!!!

Just a breif extract from our draft agreement that highlights the importance of the cleanup day this Sunday!
8.7 You must keep the permit area tidy and free of rubbish, to the satisfaction of the Regional Manager, or their delegate.
Cheers Matt

only if your removing rubbish or you don't have an occupancy agreement. see leak from draft .
9.6 Inappropriate Track Usage While FNSW does not condone the use of the Mountain Bike Tracks by four wheel drives or trail bikes FNSW cannot guarantee any level of enforcement of appropriate track usage.
At least we, as in you, have shown that we are already meeting our responsibilities.
9. Responsibilities 9.1 SCUM Mountain Bike Club is responsible for: a) Track construction and maintenance according to the guidelines in this agreement. b) Site safety, including traffic management where required. c) Prompt notification of FNSW of any problems or issues on or near the trails not covered by the guidelines and specifications of this agreement.d) Removal of track infrastructure and signage on individual or multiple mountain bike tracks if the track is closed, if required by Forests NSW due to the cancellation of this agreement by either party.
I'm confident that this agreement, the signage and greater mountain bike presence will make it better, not perfect but better and Steve Dwight whom we are dealing with has been very good to deal with.
