I beleive we have changed the venue to Coondoo. I'll get XC coordinator to confirm after he has recovered from SCOTT 24 massive win. Cheers Matt

Hi Everyone
The next race has been changed from Cabbage to Coondoo. It will be the usual race on the 6th of November. Start at 9, rego from when ever we set up and are ready.
VOLUNTEERS ARE NEEDED
The last few races have been run by the 3 club officials and Mr Ross Harden so this time if anyone can help that would be nice. If you can post it up or give me a ring.
Thanks Luke Harden 0448755533

Things are looking good for our November round with Tony Conroy running the race and getting some track work done before hand. I beleive we have timing covered as well so that's very encouraging. Thanks to those that have volenteered so early, the rest of us still need to help out where we can with setup, marking the coarse and cleanup after as well so keep your eyes and ear open for oppertunities to help.
Cheers Matt

Hi everyone
Coondoo race this weekend. Rego from about 7.30 Race Start at 9
Tony Conroy has volenteered to run the race and the Bridge girls are also helping out.
Few things to think about for the weekend: What types of race do you want next year. If you can help out at the next race or even run it.
Thanks Luke

Rode the track yesterday and noticed that Tony has already spent many hours out there this week, he has done some really good work on a lot of wet corners and a few of the log roll overs. It will be good to get out and help Tony finish it off.

Thanks SCUM for a great Snday race. Came down from Sydney town with a few of the crew - we all loved it - smiled all the way home. Hope to see you all racing around the traps in 2012.

Apart from the huge success of Heavy SCUM a few other highlights.
The Full Scott team turn out was great, it was good to be able to congratulate the boys and for them to thank the Club for the opportunity. I should also make an apology for we also had Rhys Flahive there with Callum Carlson who also did extremely well at the Scott in the Mixed schools category, they had Zoe Binder racing with them. We should have acknowledged there great effort to.
Tippo's!! There seemed to be hundreds of them and it has been suggested that they where all working together so dad could take some cake home! Good to see you there.
I think it was Phil Lamendda who I rode with for a while. He was doing his first race. Well done Phill.
The under 15 female category was a good close race and a category to watch for exciting racing. Good work girls!
And finally Zara Wright in under 13's finished with a good time of 51.52. I'm going to have make a new rule "No under 13's are to pass the President".
Cheers Matt

It was also good to see Tristan Ward and Rhys Flahive racing in the elite catagory. I noted that Tristan is still sporting a full Cell bike and kit I wonder if any local dealers might pick him up with some sponsorship? 4th in nationals on a Cell bike! Maybe they are good bikes?
