There will be at least one change to to Occupancy Agreement however I'm still waiting to hear back from MTBA and IMBA and they may wish to suggest some alterations. I will email and post on forum any changes as soon as possible, sorry for the delays on updates.
If I get a chance I may post my presidents report to read before meeting and cut down the gum flapping at the meeting.
Cheers Matt

Probably a bit late for some before tonights meeting but;
Just to be clear the draft agreement includes Coondoo, Superbowl, Butterfly tracks as well as the Funnelweb DH track and (at SF's initiative) Cabbage Tree.
Under the agreement all these tracks would have to be SIGNED, and MANAGED by SCUM.
I raise this because while including tracks like Cabbage Tree means we can still use them under the agreement, there is a distinct possibilty that the area will not be SF's to manage in the new future, which may mean that our efforts and cost will be lost anyway.
It is also important to understand that all tracks covered in this agreement become SCUM's responsibilty. So it is our job to ensure that the tracks are maintained in good condition at all times and rectify issues regardless of how they are caused.
After the initial cost and effort of signing etc I think it's safe to assume that we will have to replace signs due to wear and damage at varying rates. We will also be required to keep the trails in good repair (at all times), rectifying issues that arise from legitimate and other users.
Ok not sounding too positive, but what I'm really asking is how much can the club realistically take on and we should consider whether we need to accept all the tracks currently mentioned.
