Hi Everyone
Unfortunately I will not be able to attend this event due to being the one of the youngest people to do a Half Ironman Triathlon on this day.
Well it's on the Sun 19 Feb 09:00 – 12:00 at Butterfly. Directions are on the website.
Now we need someone who will put their hand up to be race coordinator, If you think you would like to do it post something up or give us a ring on 0448755533.
Thanks Luke

Do I have to post the Bueller video again.
Everyone wants to race but I think its time for others to step up and help. The usual suspects can't be expected to run every race.
Its not hard to do and missing one race so others can wont kill you.

Track work at Butterfly on the 18th FebruaryThere will be a track clean up at Butterfly at 3pm on Saturday 18th February to get ready for Sunday's race. Meet at the trailhead/quarry. If you are interested in helping out bring some boots, a rake, and maybe a spade. We should be mainly removing large rocks, some branches, and possibly some basic drainage work in low areas. Please do not go to the track beforehand and rake leaves off the trail or remove any debris from erosion ruts, etc that have now been bypassed. Try to let me know if you are coming out to help thanks. Fingers crossed for a dry week! Not so good this weekend. Geoff Lockhart 0418165228 geoff@essentialpersonnel.com

If we are removing large rocks I've some spots on superbowl where I'd like to use them to armour up some sections. I'll wear pants with big pockets and my utility neck brace.

Mark, Yes your help would be great. Rego people and time keepers required. Keep watching this forum for race updates due to not so good weather forcast.

Do we have a back up track for the race if Butterfly Rd cops a few showers?

We had a good turnout for our track work so thanks to those who turned up.
I've made the call (blame me if you love Butterfly) to hold the race at Superbowl due to the poor state of the road.
We shall meet at the intersection of Butterfly Rd and Forest Rd rego from 7.30 race starts at 9am
Heavy SCUM will be on for the real men, which I am no longer due to a crash diet.
Cheers Matt

Russ, there used to be a Word document on the SCUM computers with the lap distance for each track. Maybe a little out of date, but still a good guide.
Cheers Henry.
