4Hour Enduro Saturday 10th March 2012 Rego opens 3.30pm race starts 5pm Dear SCUMers Our next race is just over a week away and once again we are at the mercy of the weather, if all goes well then we’re in for a top race. 4 hour enduro at Coondoo starting at 5pm and runing into the night with transitions finishing at 9pm. This is a great chance to practice for the MONT, test lights and eyes at night, work out transitions and tune bikes. There will be a few team catagories which you can enter so grab some friends or family and enjoy both the racing and the atmosphere of an enduro. We’ve arranged for a coffee van to be there for your caffeine fix and they shall be providing some food options as well. Being a longer race we’ve also book a portaloo for your relieving pleasure. Our last race had the threat of weather in the lead up but ended up being a top day and a great race so let’s hope we get lucky again. Please keep an eye on the Forum for updates and more race details. Access will be best from the South via Comberton Grange Rd. Cheers Matthew Grootenboer SCUM President 18 Bay Street Callala Bay NSW 2540 president@scum.asn.au 0435568096

No, not good at all.
I think a decision needs to be made as there is a lot more heading up our way with Ulladulla already having 17mm this morning.
The next 2 days are forecast for at least 20mm of rain too.
If I was race director I would call it now.
They called off Capital Punishment and I think they will be close to doing the same with the Mont.

I'm happy to call the race off. We will damaging tracks and roads if we run it. The trails will need several days to dry out so unless you're planning on doing some track work (ie doing some spade work) please let the trails dry out, stay off!! Will be upto the XC coordinator to reschedule or not. Sorry for the let down. Cheers Matt

Good call guys. Better to call it now than on Sat morning. Shame really. It was starting to gain a lot of interest. I had mates from central coast and syd. coming down for Mont warm up. Oh well, plenty of other races and events this year.

Any info would be good! cheers! Cabbage was sloppy all week and with 50+mm of rain on Friday night it will be worse. I would give it a miss.
