After a failed attempt at riding Cabbage tree last weekend due to it being a fair bit wet hoping to get down there this weekend (sunday). Just wondering how much rain you guys have had down there this week and if anyone could update on the condition of the track. Don't want to make the 45 min drive down there again to be disappointed.
Any info would be great! thanks!

I might give the single speed a whirl around cabbage on Sunday after Church. Good luck at the Mont!

We rode it on sunday arvo! was a pretty good arvo despite a heavy crash that ended up my arvo a bit earlier then I would of liked.
Track was in reasonable condition and pretty dry. Still some very wet/muddy corners which may need a little TLC to get them nice and smooth again. But rest of the track was pretty fun and fast with the mud/water splashes on some of the creek crossings just adding a little more fun.
there is one massive tree down across the track (about 40-50cm's in diameter) on the northern section of the track. Apart from that and the mud it was pretty fun.

I'm confused?!?!...you said the track was in reasonable condition and pretty dry yet there was some "very wet/muddy corners"...."mud/water splashes"...and the track was fun "apart from the mud"...

Its still a little wet. Not recommended to be ridden on road tyres at 80psi. Was funny watching Kev do the dance of the spiders though.

I just went out and had a look at Cabbage this morning.
Its still no good. I only rode half the other day and thought it was ok. Its not.
PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM CABBAGE OVER EASTER.
I am going out sometime Tuesday to fix it all.

We got a bit done today and will try and finish it off on Thursday.
If you see tree branches blocking off bits of the track that is because we put them there. There are new sections using higher ground in some areas they are just not well worn yet.

Got a bit done, the big creek crossing has now been piped and is a decent crossing as opposed to riding over a bunch of sticks. Just got to remember not to get bogged and find a sense of direction next time...

The cabbage track is awesome at the moment, but we need some big pipe in some of the areas and the last bridge is now in two pieces, we need to drop in two 300mm storm pipes in there and run without a bridge. Senna corner is lethal though...

The last bridge needs replacing with either a couple of 300mm drainage pipes or a pallet, happy to get in and do another pallet bridge or fit the pipes in there, just need the materials
