Luke, I rode it last weekend and it wasn't too bad. Good enough condition to race, there are a few sandy spots and a couple of motor bike ruts but nothing too bad even for me so you whippets may have to slow down to mach 5 on some of the sandy spots but should be good. I will head out Saturday avo and clear any sticks off the track, and do a clean up if anyone wants to join in for a ride say 2ish. M KIDD

I did a couple of laps on Sunday and the track was in good condition. I'm not sure I can make the race though... I was having fun even though it was freezing cold until my second time around and I decided to hit the two logs jumps just before the end of the lap a bit harder. I took the 'A' line again and tried jumping the logs instead of just rolling them. It didn't go well. I landed off the first one, speared left and hit the support log of the second one and stepped off the bike quite quickly. I heard my ankle go crack and down I went. Ouch!!! It took a while to get out of the forest and it was raining and feezing but I got home ok and did the RICE thing all night. It swelled up to the size of one of Lewy's fatbike tires and it's still a 29'er size now. Luckily it turned out to just be badly sprained and not broken but I doubt I'll be right for Sunday. d**n rigid bikes...

I was out there yesterday arvo and did some work on the track from the dam backwards along the sandy section. Fixed the log roll over that was causing some probs - didn't have my bike to ride it but you shouldn't bottom out anymore. The track is very sandy and loose at the moment so some care on the corners would be advisable.

The track might not be dry and dusty in the morning anymore.

Hi Folk - Thanks for another great morning. A great track, nice and grippy and loads of fun. Could have done without the extra 2 kilos of clay from the ride in (these low slung cars are no good on the muddy tracks ). Had a great one and so did my son. Thanks again; see you next round. Grant
