OK people, with daylight saving time upon us, lets get some regular midweek social riding going. NO epics, just good old fashion good times and good people.
Open to suggestion before we lock it in. Discussion on preferred days and locations. Do we need to allow for lights or keep it in ridable daylight hours.
Chat on.
My preferred day is Wednesday night. Ive got lights so dark rides arent a problem, and we can if people want, do a ride from my shop on Kinghorn with free coffee at the end.
Just a suggestion .....

I'm super keen and you just beat me to posting up a similar topic.
It would be great to have a regular ride happening. I'm easy on times (I'm available 24/7) and place but think same bat-place, same bat-time is a good idea so everyone knows it is ALWAYS on and to show up regardless. Flaming those regulars who are slackers and don't make it is then allowable!!!
My problem is any night EXCEPT Wednesday suits me!!

No reason why there can't be Wed evening and say Friday evening rides. You just make it to which one you can (or both). Keep the start times the same. The start venue could be different. Remember there is the Tuesday evening ride from Callala Boat ramp as well. But somthing for the 'in towners' would be a good thing.

I just found out today that there is a regular Friday night social ride group in KV. Meet up is near the Rural Supplies Shed behind IGA.
So with Callala on Tuesday nights and KV on Fridays, Im thinking that a Wednesday night Cabbage Patch spin might be ideal. Either ride from shop(JAX Tyres) @after5pm or meet out there, say about 6pm. Im gonna ride tomorrow night either way. All are welcome.

I think it's a great idea. Hopefully I will be able to join in on a few.

Sounds great but I won't be able to join you on Wednesdays until December.
See you then but make sure you post here if there's a change in days.

Sounds great can't make this one but I will be in for next week any chance of a 5:15 start to allow me to get organised.

Looks like we are all gonna be next week, ive had the "Leave pass" revoked and the kybosh has been applied.
But on a good note we can sh*t talk it up for next weeks effort and hype this even more.
Rode Cabbage this morning for the first time in about 10years and cant believe how awesome the place is. Rather stoked also to have gotten a respectable Strava result too.

Cabbage has survived the rain last week VERY VERY well. Grip and traction all over the place.

Too much Cabbage for me lately .......
Have had a tumble at Cabbage this morning, silly clip-the-bars-on-a-tree on a fast bit and slingshot OTB. Dented ego, skinned knee, skinned elbow and matching dent on right XT brake lever reservoir. Thrills, spills, Wednesday pills and bike shop bills. GoPro was rolling so expect to see some comedy later this evening.
Needless to say I wont be out there this arvo.

Sorry to hear about your incident. I am still heading out if any one else is interested. I will be departing Council building 5:20 and heading out to Cabbage via the tracks near bens walk. If anyone wants to meet or see you there.
