Christmas Huski Ride.
I am proposing to do a ride on the 28th December to burn off some of that Christmas cheer. The ride will be from Worrigee Nature Reserve (at the back of Worrigee) to Callala across the ferry and over to Huski Pub for lunch and re hydration. The pace will be to the slowest rider and we will include a loop of Butterfly on the way so you can sit that out if you want. see below for details Start time - 8:00am Location - Fire trail at back of Worrigee off Liberty Rd (near Isa Rd) Pace - Easy track - Fire trail and single track All welcome
Anyone interested can personal message me or keep an eye on this post and the one in midweek summer social ride for details.
Hope to see you there

Hmm might have to get the 29er back on the road in time, for this one, I've been a little anti social lately...

I'm in but I'll only do a one way trip on the ferry as I'll make a loop out of it.
If anyone wants to join me I'll be riding from Woollamia via Comberton Grange to the meeting point at Worrigee. Then riding with the rest to the ferry and pub.
That way I only have a short post-lunch roll home ;D

I'm giving myself 1.5hr to get to the meeting point which should be plenty but wait a bit or give me a call if I'm not there and you're ready to go just in case I have a problem or get lost or something. Looking forward to that cold beer at the pub. I can taste it already... oh that's the one I'm drinking now

Great ride today guys. Ferry was quick and easy way to get to Husky. Thanks to Owen for showing us the way to get from Husky to Albatross with almost zero bitumen.

It was an excellent ride. It's nice to add something unusual like the ferry trip to a ride. It makes it a memorable one.
I'm also happy that I got to show you all some new tracks. I'll keep exploring (now that I'm getting some fittness again) and organise a proper ride down this way soon.

Thanks to everyone that came along on Friday, what a great ride. Thanks to Lewy, Owen and everyone else who showed us some great tracks. I will be booking it in for next year and probably a mid year some time too.
