Hi everyone
I have been wondering what tyres people prefer for the SCUM trails. I have mostly used Racing Ralphs which I can't say is a bad tyre but I don't really have anything to compare them to.
So what tyres have you found perform the best on the local trails?
Cheers

I have been running a crossmark on the back and a Conti X-King on the front in a 2.4 on the 29er.
I find them pretty good around here.

I'm using Ardents at the moment. They are good on soft damp stuff. Ok on dry sandy stuff. It all depends on the conditions which can change daily. There are lots of options in the all rounder tyre tread. Keep with folding and set them up tubeless.

Thanks guys
I looked for a tyre thread but didn't find one, oops.
Yeah it was the real dry (powdery?) stuff I was having sketchy moments on and was wondering had anyone found a tyre that worked well in that stuff, I should Have been more specific. On the plus side though after the little bit of rain we just had I can say the RRs were great, not one sketch today. So I guess it's more so when the tracks have no moisture.
