You've probably seen the bits I did on Saturday by now. Slashed the sides and cleaned up Bobsled through to the 'Kel' log rollover, slashed a bit of that link track that was put in last year at the northern end of Blair Witch, cut back some saplings to open up the sight lines on the inside of that dicey corner in Blair Witch where the stump is that catches riders coming out of the corner, and raked out the sand that caught me out last week in Hot as Hell. Craig and another guy had been in Hot as Hell picking up sticks and raking the track out.

Thanks to all that have helped with trail maint at Coondoo. I did a lap there yesterday and it is looking real good. There is some rain forcast for this week and that should settle the track in nicely.

Ditto to Russ and Lewys' comments. Pride in your local SCUM trails is what it's all about!!

I rode the track this avo and it is looking great. Yes there is some hairy sandy bits but it is mountain biking not roadie stuff.

Happy to help out too.
You always get a different perspective walking and cleaning up a track and then riding it again afterwards.
Can't wait to get a working bike again...

Saw a trailer load of motos getting ready to blast around the forest this morning. Would have been great to ask them to stay off the MTB trails but without any signs its wasted breath. Sure they could well ignore signs too but at the moment they don't have to ignore anything. Of course I'm hoping they go somewhere else altogether.

Lewy, Russ/Pat,
I was thinking of heading out to Coondo on Saturday to try and put some drainage pipes in where the water is puddling (see photos above), do you guys have any issues wih me closing that section for maintenance for an hour or so?
(Weather permitting)

Fine by me mate. I am planning on heading out that way tomorrow for a ride and a look around and some issues there and to see what can be done at Superbowl.

Weather is not looking good. Another 90% chance of 10-20mm of rain.
Lets hope not.
