Killalea State Park

I received this email and would like to pass it on.



Killalea state park has opened it's plan of management for public comment and I have
put in a proposal for a xc track. I'm looking for support from the mtb community. If
your members could go to www.killalea.com.au ,click on PoM and fill out the survey
,particularly Q11,let them know that a track would be a great idea. Step 2 , use the
[e-mail] link and tell them again ,that would be even
better. Please contact me if you need more information.

I remember riding there 30 years ago.
Might have had a surfboard under my arm though. ;D

XC trail will be a good thing if:
1. it's built by a mtb trail mob ( not some brain dead gov. dept who think 'offroad bicycle riding' is a 2m wide flat gravel path)
2. its maintained. This will only happen if a local club is formed and work is done by volunteers.

But agreed has lots of potential if done right.
