there is one dedicated track but it doesn't get used for comp anymore. Its at Wandandian, i've been meaning to go check it out but just haven't got around to it. I wanted to get into dh too but there just aren't any tracks here, which is weird considering we have a big mountain range running along the south coast.

Due to the lack of Downhillers and people willing to help maintain the track we did not include it in our agreement with ForestsNSW.
Plus it all got burnt in the bushfires.
There may be a lot of areas to build downhill tracks but without the landholders permission and people to build it, it makes it hard.

if you live further up north, there are heaps of really good DH trails at kembla and mount kiera around the gong. there is a very large group of guys/girls that shuttle every weekend, thats your best bet for getting some runs in. as for racing, canberra is probably your best bet, CORC run races pretty much every month as does the hunter club, they alternate between ourimbah and awaba up towards newcastle. and theres still a few of us kicking round funnelweb trying to restore it to its former glory!
