I think next time we need some scales that go past 120kgs.
Awesome goodies bag too, thanks to NBC for sponsoring us larger lads.

The results are in and we have a winner but let me start by congratulating all 5 competitors. Superbowl is not a big unit circuit with some nasty climbs to haul the full figures up let alone watch the buttless ones fly past effortlessly.
here are the results Micheal Rodrigues was not only the biggest but was riding with brakes rubbing to add to the difficulty he came in with a 20st X 10.04kmh= 200.8 HS's.
Steven Di Pietro was confident his 40kg thighs would carry him to glory and he did have the second fastest average speed but unfortunately for Steve he was also the lightest, Good thing for Steve is that training can be done on the couch for the next event. 15st X 14.74kmh = 221.1HS's
Matt (The Big) Kidd has been waiting for some time for this match up with Greg (Lewy) Lewis, two of SCUMs proven heavy hitters finally got to go at it on the track. This was the match up that everyone had been waiting for since Heavy SCUM came about. Let's look at the results: Matt. 16.5st X 14.72kmh = 242.88HS's Lewy 19st X 12.99kmh = 246.81HS's Looks like Lewy got him this time but I don't think this story is over by a long way.
But there can only be one winner and Heavy SCUM's winner of the "Battle at the Bowl 1" was Andrew Mein. Weighing in at a respectable 16.5 stone but racing in Expert Andrew had to do an extra lap but clearly is very quick with an average speed of 17.35kmh. Andrew has taken the "CAKE" with 286.275HS's. Congratulations Andrew.
Well that's how it went down! A big thanks to our sponsors Nowra Baptist Church who appreciate the need for big Mountainbikers to know their maker!
And a Big thanks to you Guys who took part, for coming, for riding and enjoying hopefully I'll be back amongst it soon.
Cheers Matt

I'm waiting for the push for BMI Andrew wasn't carrying much weight that he couldn't use. Shame on you Andrew, looking after yourself like that!

Certainly an entertaining take on racing. I really think there is something in this format. I was interested in the Clydesdale category that one of the 8 hour series have but I can't ride for that long. Now for the UCI to take it on!
Thanks for the sugar fix...
- Andrew.

Well yes was going to mention that but I thought you might go with being attacked by a drop bear or mechanical problem, I am sure once you get your 29 er things will change.

No such excuse I am afraid. I used all my chickens trying to catch you. Then had no more chickens left

Heavy SCUM is having a heavy toll on components again. I only got 2000kms out of my rear rim this time. All on the road too.

Hoping to get organised to run HEAVY SCUM Sunday but am juggling family and time still it should be good day for it. Sweet, I just lost 6kg so that should equate to 1.5km/h per lap on average at Butterfly. at 100.7kg.
